Selling infantry

There is a way (even in patched versions such as Covert Operations) to sell your ALL units for half price. So this means: Infantry, Vehicles, Aircraft and Ships (selling ships is VERY VERY hard, because you can't let them stop).
This could come in handy if you're stuck with a whole bunch of infantry about to be napalm-bombed. Sell them and you'll even get money for 'em! It's also handy if you don't have a Repair Facility and still want to sell tanks.

Selling infantry is easy:

1. Build a wall (Sandbag, Chain Link or Concrete).
2. Place any unit right beside it (for infantry, this means a half square distance from the wall).
3. Click Sell.
4. Hold the $ above the wall, and then slowly move towards your unit.
5. Once the name of the unit is displayed while the $ is still turning, click, and your unit is sold.

It 'll take some practice, but it's worth it!

Ion Cannon and aircraft SAM Site trick

Blasting a SAM Site with the Ion Cannon doesn't normally destroy it. But, if you blast it while the protective hatch is open it just goes KABOOM!
This trick works, because when the hatch is open, the SAM Site only has 1/3 of its normal strenght. So, if the Ion Cannon normally only damages SAM Site half way when it's closed, the SAM site would really be 1 1/2 times destroyed when it's open. Since something cannot be destroyed 1 1/2 times, it's simply "bye bye SAM Site".

What you do:

1. Build aircraft or have an airstrike ready, and have the Ion Cannon ready.
2. Send the aircraft towards the SAM Site.
3. As soon as the hatch opens, blast it with the Ion Cannon, and the SAM Site is no more.

Tip: Dont wait too long before you blast, because SAM Sites still fire at your planes, don't forget!
